Combuster Parts

Combuster is a device used to burn fuel, usually used in internal combustion engines, gas turbines, jet engines and other systems that require a combustion process to generate energy. The main function of the burner is to mix fuel and air and ignite them under high temperature and high pressure conditions to produce high-temperature combustion gases, and then guide these high-temperature gases into the turbine or nozzle to generate power or propulsion.

In gas turbines and jet engines, the combustor is usually located in the core of the engine. The fuel and air mixture in the burner is ignited, and the high-temperature combustion gas impacts the turbine at high speed, causing it to rotate, thereby converting chemical energy into mechanical energy to propel equipment such as aircraft or generators.

Burners are complex in design and engineering and need to ensure an efficient combustion process to maximize energy extraction while minimizing the production of harmful emissions. Therefore, combustor design and performance are critical to both the performance and environmental friendliness of gas turbines and jet engines.
