1. Aerospace field
The development of China's independent aerospace industry and the development of advanced engines will bring about an increase in market demand for high-end and new high-temperature alloys.
The aviation engine is known as the "industrial flower" and is one of the most technologically advanced and difficult components in the aviation industry. As an aircraft power plant, it is particularly important for metal structural materials to possess properties such as lightweight, high-strength, high toughness, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance, which are almost the highest performance requirements among structural materials.
High temperature alloys are metal materials that can work for a long time at temperatures above 600 ℃ and under certain stress conditions. High temperature alloys are developed to meet the stringent material requirements of modern aviation engines, and have become an irreplaceable key material for the hot end components of aviation engines. In advanced aviation engines, the proportion of high-temperature alloys used has reached over 50%.
In modern advanced aviation engines, high-temperature alloy materials account for 40% to 60% of the total engine volume. In aviation engines, high-temperature alloys are mainly used for the four major hot section components of combustion chambers, guide vanes, turbine blades, and turbine discs; In addition, it is also used for gearbox, ring, afterburner, tail nozzle and other parts.
2. Energy sector
High temperature alloys have a wide range of applications in the energy field. In high parameter ultra supercritical power generation boilers for coal-fired power generation, high-temperature alloy pipes with good creep resistance, excellent oxidation resistance on the steam side, and excellent corrosion resistance on the flue gas side must be used for the superheater and reheater; In gas and electric gas turbines, turbine blades and guide blades require the use of high-temperature corrosion resistant alloys with excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and long-term structural stability; In the field of nuclear power, the heat transfer tubes of steam generators must be made of high-temperature alloys with good solution corrosion resistance; In the fields of coal gasification and energy conservation and emission reduction, high-temperature alloys with excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and high-temperature wear resistance are widely used; In oil and natural gas extraction, especially deep well extraction, drilling tools must be made of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant high-temperature alloys in an acidic environment of 4-150 ℃, coupled with the presence of CO2, H2S, and sediment.
In recent years, large power generation equipment manufacturing groups such as Shanghai Electric, Dongfang Electric, and Harbin Steam Turbine Plant in China have made significant improvements in production scale and technology, driving the demand for turbine discs used in power generation equipment. The new generation of power generation equipment, large-scale ground gas turbines (which can also be used as ship power), which is currently undergoing localization research and development, has made significant progress. After achieving mass production, it will drive the demand for high-temperature alloys. At the same time, the localization of nuclear power equipment will also drive the demand for domestically produced high-temperature alloys.
