Product Introduction

Material 

Monel alloy is a type of nickel copper alloy with good corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Common Monel alloys include:

    1.Monel 400:

• Containing about 63-70% copper and 28-34% nickel.
• It has good corrosion resistance, especially to sea water, salt water and sulfuric acid.
• Widely used, including marine engineering, chemical equipment, seawater treatment equipment, heat exchangers, etc.
• Has good processability and weldability.

    2.Monel K-500:

• Containing about 63-70% copper, 27-34% nickel, 2.3-3.15% aluminum, and 0.35-0.85% titanium.
• Higher strength and hardness than Monel 400, as well as better corrosion resistance.
• Used for equipment in high temperature, high pressure, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant environments, such as pump shafts, pump sleeves, valves, bolts, etc.

    3.Monel R-405:

• Containing approximately 66.5% copper, 31.5% nickel, and 1.2% silicon.
• It has higher hardness and corrosion resistance and is commonly used in parts such as bolts, nuts, valves and pumps in the chemical industry.

    4.Monel 401:

• Containing about 42-46% copper, 52-56% nickel, and 1.5-2.5% iron.
• Less common, used for parts such as pumps and valves in seawater.

    5.Monel 404:

• Contains approximately 52% copper, 46% nickel, and 2% silicon.
• Used for welding materials.

    6.Monel 502:

• Containing about 63% copper, about 29% nickel, about 2.5% iron, about 2% molybdenum, about 0.5% silicon, and about 0.5% manganese.
• Has high strength and good corrosion resistance.
