The operating environment of turbine blades has the following characteristics:
High temperature: They usually face extremely high temperatures during operation. For example, turbine blades of gas turbines may have to withstand temperatures exceeding 1000℃ or even higher.
High pressure: They are in a high-pressure gas or fluid environment.
High stress: They will be subjected to greater mechanical stress due to rotation and airflow.
High-speed airflow impact: They are constantly impacted by high-speed flowing gas.
Corrosive media: They may be exposed to corrosive media, such as exhaust gas after combustion.
Complex thermal cycles: They undergo frequent heating and cooling cycles, which places high demands on the thermal fatigue performance of blade materials.
