Titanium alloy turbine wheel refers to the turbine parts made of titanium alloy materials. Titanium alloy is a light-weight and high-strength metal material with good high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, so it is widely used in demanding applications such as aerospace, aeroengine, automotive and energy fields.

The manufacture of titanium alloy turbines usually involves the following steps:

Material selection: choose titanium alloy materials suitable for turbine applications, common ones include Ti-6Al-4V (titanium-6 aluminum-4 vanadium) and Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo (titanium-6 aluminum-2 tin-4 zirconium -6 molybdenum) etc. The selection of suitable titanium alloy materials depends on the working environment and performance requirements of the turbine.

Titanium Alloy Forging or Casting: Depending on the size and complexity of the turbine, a titanium alloy forging or casting process can be used for the initial shaping of the turbine. Forging is generally suitable for large and complex shaped turbines, while casting is suitable for smaller and simple shaped turbines.

Precision machining: Fine machining and trimming of titanium alloy turbines is carried out through precision machining equipment such as CNC machine tools. This includes milling, turning, drilling, threading etc. of the titanium alloy to obtain the final shape and dimensions of the turbine.

Surface treatment: Surface treatment of titanium alloy turbines, such as polishing, sandblasting, anodizing, etc., to improve the surface quality and corrosion resistance of the turbine.
