The exhaust gas discharged from the engine drives the turbine impeller at the exhaust end of the turbine to rotate, which drives the compressor impeller connected to it to rotate.
The compressor impeller forcibly sucks air in, compresses the air through the rotation of the blades, and then enters the compression channel with increasingly smaller diameters for secondary compression.
The compressed air is injected into the cylinder for combustion.
Some engines are equipped with an intercooler to lower the temperature of the compressed air, increase its density, and prevent engine detonation.
The compressed and cooled air enters the cylinder through the intake pipe and participates in combustion to produce work.
The burned exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe and enters the turbine, where the above action is repeated.
