4J36 is a low expansion alloy
4J36 is a special low-expansion iron-nickel alloy with an ultra-low expansion coefficient. The Curie point of the alloy is about 230°C, the alloy is ferromagnetic below 230°C, and non-magnetic above 230°C. This alloy is mainly used to manufacture components with close and constant dimensions within the temperature range, and is widely used Wireless point industry, precision instruments, meters, etc.
It has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion between -250°C and +200°C.
Has good plasticity and toughness.
